School Timings as per RTE, High Court Instructions

State Project Director of AP SSA has issued Lr.No.141/B1/SCERT/2014 on 11-08-2014 regarding the new school timings.
These new school timings as per the Right to Education Norms and Honorable High Court directions. As per the norms stated in
RTE, the commissioner and Director of School Education, AP , Hyd given certain instructions to follow new school timings scrupulously.
In above stated reasons Director, SCERT of AP has submitted new schools timings and details of periods to Primary, Upper Primary and High
Schools in terms of the propositions of RTE Act. All the DEOs of the State AP have to follow the new school timings and the same should be
intimated to all MEOs of their jurisdiction. DEO, DyEO, MEO concerned instructed to adapt the new school timings and ensure no school works
beyond school hours. It shall also be ensued the private schools do not function more than working hours.

In case of any difficulty in maintain new school timings as prescribed by Govt AP, they can approach the concerned DEO for relaxing the school
timings. In case of any specific reasons like non availability of APSRTC buses of remote area , such proposals can be separately examined.
