from 30-08-2014. Actually the Medical Counseling notification might issues on 23rd August, but non availability of Telangana Chief Minister
the notification has postponed to release on 25th August, Monday. So , after taking consent from Telangana CM , the notification will be released on 25th August . The authorities are trying to conduct Medical Counseling 2014 even though I t has facing many constrains in the both states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Govts.
The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), JNTU who conduct EAMCET-2014 entrance test on behalf of APSCHE is hardly trying to conduct counseling to the aspirants who gat rank in the EAMCET-2014. The test is prerequisite to got admission in the various medical and engineering colleges across AP and Telangana.
The Authorities are trying to conduct classes from month of September. For that they need the nod of both states to initiate counseling process. The authorities are planning to overcome the problems if any pauses happen while in the counseling process. And they are hardly trying to conduct classes for those who are got admission on Aug 30 and Aug 31 through the counseling.
The newly established Medical College Sri Padmavathi Mahila Medical College has got 150 medical seats. This medical college has to workunder SVIMS, Tirupathi and come under special category. In the total 150 seats available, 85% of seats to the AP State students, remaining 15% to the NRI quota.
As per the prescribed norms for 127 seats in that college students have to pay 60,000/- as annual fees. In that 127 seats, 108 seats are allotted to the local 13 districts AP students and remaining seats will fill with non-local candidates. Students, who got seat under NRI quota has to pay 20 thousand dollars as annual fee.
