TS TET-2022: Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test -2022(TS TET-2022) has been released by Telangana State School Education Department. Online applications are being accepted from qualified people who desire to teach from Class-I through Class-VIII. This TS TET-2022 notification is based on the amendments in Go.8 Dt:23/03/2022 of Telangana Government. Desired eligible candidates can apply through the official website https://tstet.cgg.gov.in. TS TET-2022 will be conducted on 12th June 2022 in all 33 districts of Telangana State. Who are Eligible to TS TET-2022 ?
Candidates who has passed D.El.Ed/D.Ed/B.Ed/ Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and those who are in final year of the above said coursed with required percentage as stated can apply for TS TET-2022. Candidates after obtaining the TS TET-2022 can teach to the classes from Class-I to Class-VIII in all schools. Candidate who got qualified in the earlier can also apply for TS TET-2022. Candidates who didn’t qualify in previous TET, can also apply for the TS TET-2022.

What is TS TET Paper-I and Paper-II
The TS-TET-2022 will be divided into two papers, Paper-I and Paper-II. Those intending to teach for the Class-I to Class-V must take Paper-I, whereas candidates intending to teach in Class VI to Class VIII must take Paper-II. Candidates who want to teach in all grades from I to VIII can take both examinations, Paper-I and Paper-II.
Date and Timings of TS-TET-2022 and Duration
TS-TET-2022 will be conducted on 12.06.2022 in all the 33 Districts of the State. The duration and timings of the test are as stated below
Paper-I for Class I to V : 9.30 am to 12.00 noon and Exam is duration 2 ½ hours
Paper-II for Class VI to VIII: 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm and exam duration 2 ½ hours
How to Pay Exam fee Online Payment
The TS TET-2022 exam cost is Rs.300/- for either a Single Paper (i.e. just Paper I or only Paper II) or Both Papers (i.e. Paper I and Paper II) (Rupees Three hundred only). Candidates can pay the test fee online through the TS-TET official website https://tstet.cgg.gov.in between March 26 and April 11, 2022.
What is the Procedure for submission of TS TET-2022 Application Online
The Information Bulletin contains a detailed approach for applying online at https://tstet.cgg.gov.in . From the 25th of March, 2022, candidates can obtain the ‘Information Bulletin’ for free from the TSTET official website: https://tstet.cgg.gov.in. Desired and eligible candidates can apply through online from 26/03/2022 to 12/04/2022 using the official website: https://tstet.cgg.gov.in.
TS TET-2022 Exam Centers
The TS-TET-2022 will be held in each of the state’s 33 districts. Candidates have the option of selecting any District Examination Centre of their choosing. However, if an Examination Centre is reached its capacity, that Examination Centre will no longer be available in the list of examination centers provided in the Online application form. In such cases, applicants must select the next nearby Examination Centre of their choosing from the remaining list.
TS TET-2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for TS-TET-2022 must have the minimum credentials stipulated for a teacher for I to V classes (Paper-I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II) as specified in the Information Bulletin. Candidates in their final year of any of the Teacher Education Courses authorized by the NCTE or the RCI, and/or the Language Pandit Training Courses, may also apply for the TS-TET-2022.
Further, It is clarified that appearing or passing the TS-TET will not only entitle a candidate to be considered for appointment to the post of Teacher in Government / Zilla Parishad / Mandal Parishad / and Private Aided Schools unless he possesses the qualifications prescribed for appointment to such post in the relevant statutory job placement rules framed by Telangana State Government from time to time.

Weightage for TS-TET Scores DSC and TS TET Certificate Validity
As per G.O.Ms.No.36,School Education (Trg.) Dept., dt 23.12.2015, 20% weightage is given to TET score in Teacher Recruitment Test(TRT/DSC) in the State of Telangana. The validity of TS TET certificate would remain valid for life.
How to Apply TS TET-2022 Online
Step 1: To register for the TS TET 2022, go to the TSTET official website, tstet.cgg.gov.in.
Step 2: After entering the official website, click on the “Apply online” option.
Step 3: Enter your contact information, name, date of birth, and so forth.
Step 4: You will then be given a provisional registration number and password, which will be forwarded to the candidate’s registered email address.
Step 5: After successfully registering, log in using your registration number and password.
Step 6: Pay the TSTET application costs using any online payment mechanism of your choosing.
Step 7: You must choose which test you will take: Paper-I or Paper-II, or both Papers-I and Paper-II.
Step 8: Next, submit scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and needed papers.
Step 9: Click the Submit Form button.
Step 10: Make a note of the transaction ID that you will be given.
Frequently Asked Questions(FAQ) TS TET-2022
Question 1: Do I need to take both the TS TET-2022 Paper-I and Paper-II?
Ans: There is no need to take both examinations. Candidates who want to teach in the first through fifth grades need only apply for Paper I. If the applicant wishes to teach in the VI through VIII grades, he or she must take Paper-II. If a candidate desires to go from Class-I to Class-VIII, he or she must take both Paper-I and Paper-II.
Question 2 : Is this TS TET alone adequate to acquire a job as a teacher in Telangana?
Ans: TET alone will not earn you a job as a teacher. In addition to the TET, candidates must take a Teacher Recruitment Test, such as the DSC.
Question 3: What is the weightage of the TET for the Teacher Recruitment Test?
Ans: TET scores are given a 20% weightage in the Telangana Teacher Recruitment Test.
Question 4 : Is it possible to take the Teacher Recruitment Test without a TET certificate?
Ans: Before taking the Teacher Recruitment Test, the candidate must pass the TET.
Question 5: What is the minimum qualifying score for the General Category (OC)?
Ans: The minimum qualifying marks are 60% and higher.
