How to Apply Online for JEE Main 2024

Step 1: Registration

Choose one of the following options to register:

  • Login/create a DigiLocker account through the NAD portal
  • Login/create an Academic Bank of Credits ID (ABC ID)
  • Login with an Indian or Non-Indian Passport Number
  • Login with a PAN Card Number
  • Login with an Aadhaar Enrollment Number

Authentication at Exam Center: Choose one:

  • Authenticate with Aadhaar Card
  • Authenticate with a valid government photo ID

Complete the online form, set a password, select a security question, and submit. An application number will be generated for future use.

Step 2: Complete Application Form

Login with your Application Number and Password or DigiLocker/ABC ID to:

  • Fill in personal details, select exam paper, choose cities, and provide education details
  • Upload documents: photo, signature, and PwD certificate (if applicable)

Document Requirements:

  • Recent photo (color or B&W), 80% face visible, white background: 10–200 kb (JPG/JPEG)
  • Signature: 4–30 kb (JPG/JPEG)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable): 50–300 kb (PDF)

Note: Ensure images are clear. Corrections may not be allowed later.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee

After completing Steps 1 and 2, pay the fee online via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI. GST and processing charges may apply.

A Confirmation Page will appear after successful payment. If not, contact the bank for payment issues or refunds.

Key Changes in JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern

The JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern has undergone significant changes. This year, there will be no optional questions in Section B of each subject. Each paper will have fixed sections, and students are required to answer all questions in Section B, which now contains only 5 questions per subject.
