KVS 1st Class Online Admission 2024-25: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has launched the portal https://kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in to apply for admission to Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas across India. This portal is exclusively intended for applying admissions of Class 1 in Kendriya Vidyalayas. The online registration process for admission to 1st Class will be available on the official website until April 1, 2024. For admission into Class-I, student has minimum six years of age. The registrations for KV Class 1 admission 2024 are done in strictly online mode only, no manual written request allowed.

KVS 1st Class Admission are Online Mode
Registration for admission to Kendriya Vidyalayas in 1st Class will commence on 01/04/2024. KVS admission online for the academic year 2024-25 for admission to Class-I is accessible from the 01.04.2024 (Monday) and will close at 05:00 pm on 15.04.2024 (Monday) in the official website. Registration for KV Class 1 admission 2024 is done completely online mode only.

Sequence Adopted for Fresh Admission to KVS Class-I
First Lot: As per RTE Provisions, 10 seats (out of 40 seats) in Class I each section are to be filled (25 percent of seats), and these 10 seats will be filled by lot from all applicants of SC/ST/EWS/BPL/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently Abled taken together who are residents of Neighbourhood.
Second Lot: A lottery for differently abled SC/ST/OBCNCL/Unreserved applicants will be held in accordance with the Priority Category.
Third Lot: The remaining seats (after deducting RTE and Differently Abled applicants, if any) would be filled in accordance with the existing Priority Category of Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 in the case of Project/IHL KV) only up to the sanctioned strength or until all registered candidates from Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 in the case of Project/IHL KV) are filled.
Fourth Lot: The entire number of SC/ST/OBC-NCL admission done till the third phase will be calculated from the admitted summary of RTE, DA, Cat-1 and Cat-2 (Cat-1 to Cat-3 in the case of Project/IHL KV) admission. Following that, any shortage in seats earmarked for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates will be compensated by admitting SC/ST/OBC-NCL applicants in the order of admission preferences, regardless of sanctioned strength.
Fifth Lot: If the sanctioned strength is not filled and seats remain empty, candidates from Priority Cat-3 (Cat-4 in Project/IHL KV) and above will be considered for admission based on the existing priority list for unreserved seats only. The unfilled RTE/SC/ST/OBC (NCL) reserved seats should be kept empty.
KVS Online Application General Instructions
- Registering on the portal: On successful registration, you will be assigned a unique Login Code. Please note down your unique Login Code carefully.
- Filling and submitting application: The Login Code obtained after registration must be used to login and fill the online application form.
- You can indicate choice of up to three (3) different Vidyalayas in India, without any preference between Vidyalayas, in a single form.
- After filling in the application form, it must be submitted by clicking on the Submit Application button. On successful submission, you will be assigned a unique Application Submission Code, that is different from the Login Code.
- You will also be shown a list of original documents to be submitted to a Vidyalaya at the time of admission in case provisional admission is offered by the Vidyalaya. Please note down your Application Submission Code and the list of documents to be submitted at the time of admission carefully.

- A digital or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission (JPEG file of at least 256KB).
- A scan copy of the child’s birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of at least 256KB).
