AP Formative-1 Exam Schedule I Class to X Class
Formative-1 Examination Timetable has been released for the classes from 1st Class to 10th Class. The examination for 1st to 8th Class will be in the new system Classroom Based Assessment. The syllabus for the Formative Assessment-1(FA1) has been released already. There is not change in the exam pattern for the classes 9th Class and 10th Class. Teachers has to download the FA1(Fomrative-1) Exam Timetable , New exam pattern and get familiarized to the students. So that students can perform well in the coming FA1 Examinations.
FA1 Exam is from 02/11/2022
For all classes from 1st to 10th Class the the FA1 exam will start from 2nd November 2022. Here we are providing FA1 examination scheme class wise.

FA1 Exam Pattern, Blueprint, Structure 1st to 8th Class
1 Type of Questions CBA
Following types of question will be asked according to the blueprint and Structure. Blueprint has been prepared to make sure the assessments meet their objectives.
Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) :
- They help test a wide variety of skills, from knowledge of facts to application and inference.
- They help in pinpointing common errors made by students.
Free Response Questions (FRs):
- Fill in the blanks: Easy to construct
- Very short answers: Help test the writing skills of the students effectively
- Short Answers: Tested to check writing and sentence creation skills of students, or to test the understanding or definition of a particular concept
- Long Answers: When asked in Language, offer students an opportunity to demonstrate their thinking ability, creativity and writing skills.
2. MUA Balance
- Mechanical: Mechanical questions are the question types that the child is familiar with and might have seen in his/her textbooks.
- Understanding: Understanding questions would technically require conceptual knowledge and would have an added level/step of problem-solving to get to the answer.
- Application: Application type questions are questions testing the application of a concept in a real-life situation.
Number of MC and FR Division
Classes 1-2:
MCQs – 10, FRs: 2-5
All the questions for classes 1-2 will be read aloud by the teachers
Classes 3-8:
MCQs – 15 FRs: 2-5
Class 3, there will be 4-5 components in the paper that will have to be read aloud.
Classes 4-5:
Language papers, there will be 1 read aloud component
