Eligibility for Dr.BRAOU B.Ed(SE)
Following are eligibility criteria to get into admission of two and half years B.Ed(SE) course.
1. The Candidate should be an Indian Citizen.
2. Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelors Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.Sc. (Home Science)/BBM /BBA/B.E/B.Tech. with specialization in Science and Mathematics) or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission into the programme.
3. For BCA candidate must pass intermediate with concern subjects to opt the methodology.
4. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PH should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
5. However, Weightage will be given to the candidates fulfilling any one of the following conditions:
a)Parent of a child with disability, possessing Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
b)Person with disability, possessing Disability Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
c)Possession of any RCI approved Diploma
6. The reservation for SC/ST/BC/PWD categories shall be as per the rules in vogue.
7. EWS quota seats will be allotted to the eligible candidate.
Note:
i. As per the GOMS No: 92 and GOMS NO.13,& RCI norms the candidates who passed MBBS/BDS/BPT/BAMS/BL/LLB/B.Pharm/BHMT/BVSC/B.Sc.(AG)/BA(Languages)/BOL, BMR, B.Sc ASLPetc. and other such Professional and Job Oriented courses are not eligible for admission into B.Ed. SE Programme.
ii. B.Ed. SE Programme is offered in three Specializations. Viz. :
I .Visual Impairment(VI)
II. Hearing Impairment(HI)
III. Intellectual Disability (ID)
The candidate has to choose any one of the Specialization for admission.
Medium of B.Ed(SE) Course Study
Candidates can choose either Telugu medium or English medium for saying the B.Ed(SE) course. Separate books for Telugu and English medium will be sent by the university.
B.Ed(SE) Course Tuition Fee
For Entire Programme of two and half years (i.e. 5 Semesters) Total fee Rs. 40,000/– (Rupees Forty Thousand only) Rs.30.000/–(Rupees Thirty Thousand only) for tuition fee + Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten thousand only) towards Learner Support Services fee) to be paid at the time of Admissions.
Duration of B.Ed(SE) Course
The total duration of course is 2 ½ Academic Years, consisting of five semesters.
Syllabus B.Ed(SE) Entrance Test
The Entrance Test Question Paper will have 2 parts for 100 Marks with 100 Objective
type (Multiple Choice) questions.
Part–A: General English Comprehension (40 Marks)
Part–B: General Mental Ability: Logical & Analytical
Reasoning: Verbal & Abstract Reasoning (60 Marks)
Mode of Entrance Test
Entrance Test will be conducted Online [Computer Based Test (CBT) mode].
Registration for the Entrance Test
Register through ONLINE in the University portal (www.braouonline.in) and pay the Registration fee of Rs. 1000/–(Rupees one thousand only) and S.C/ST/ PwD candidates may pay Rs. 750/– (Rupees Seven hundred fifty only) through online on or before: 22–05–2023.
Last date for Registration & payment of Entrance Test fee with a late fee of Rs. 500/–: 28–05–2023.

The candidates have to download the Hall tickets from university website from 02–06–2023 from the university website and affix the latest passport size photograph (which is exactly similar to the on uploaded in the Online application) in the space provided and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer/Principal of the College, without the hall ticket the candidate is not allowed to appear for
entrance test.
