AP Polytechnic Lecturers Recruitment Notification : APPSC has released Polytechnic Lecturers Notification. The lecturers recruitment notification is a boon for jobseekers.    Eligible candidates can apply for the position of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges (Engineering and Non-Engineering) in A.P Technical Education Service. There are 99 vacancies, and the pay scale is between Rs. 56,100 and Rs. 98,400. Applicants must be between 18 and 42 years old as of July 1, 2023. To apply, candidates should visit https://psc.ap.gov.in between January 29, 2024, and February 18, 2024, by 11:59 PM. If it’s the first time applying to A.P.P.S.C. posts, candidates need to register their details on the Commission’s website. After registration, a user ID will be sent to the provided mobile number and email ID.

Computer-Based Recruitment Test

The selection process for the post lecturers will be based on a Written Examination conducted in Computer-Based Recruitment Test mode by the Commission. The exam is scheduled for April/May 2024. Candidates should regularly check the Commission’s website for updates on examination dates. The test will be in objective type, with answers provided on a computer system.

Age Relaxation for BC, SC, ST & EWS

Application Fee Details

Applicant must pay Rs. 250/-  towards application processing fee and Rs 120/- towards examination fee. Candidates belongs to SC, ST, BC, PBD & Ex-Servicemen, White cardholders issued by Civil Supplies are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Selection Process of JL

Candidates for the lecturer post will be selected through a Written Examination in Computer-Based Recruitment Test mode conducted by the Commission, scheduled for April/May 2024. Those who perform well in the main written examination will be shortlisted for a Computer Proficiency Test. To be eligible for the position of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges (Engineering and Non-Engineering) in A.P Technical Education Service, candidates must qualify the Computer Proficiency Test.

How to Apply Online for Polytechnic Lecturer Posts

  1. Initial Application Steps:
    • Log in to the Commission’s website using the registered OTPR number.
    • If applying for the first time, fill the OTPR application to obtain an OTPR ID, ensuring accurate details.
    • Candidates can modify their OTPR by clicking the modify OTPR option, making necessary changes, and saving them.
  2. Submission of Online Application:
    • Log in with the User Name (OTPR ID) and the Password set during the application process.
    • Click on “Online Application Submission” at the bottom right corner of the Commission’s website.
    • Choose the Fill Application button for the desired notification number.
  3. Application Form Completion:
    • Fill in all details such as Qualification, Post preferences, examination centre, etc.
    • Submit the Application form using the Save or Save & Submit option.
    • Clicking Save saves the details in case of power or service issues, while Save & Submit generates the payment link.
  4. Payment Process:
    • Check basic details for fee calculation; age relaxation is pre-populated from the OTPR data.
    • Verify all displayed details and submit the payment form.
    • After successful submission, a payment reference ID is generated, and an SMS alert is sent to the registered Mobile Number.
  5. Payment Troubleshooting:
    • If the payment process fails, start a fresh payment process as mentioned in STEP-II.
  6. Post-Submission Corrections:
    • Corrections in the application are allowed after the last date of submission and up to 7 days only.
    • Corrections can be made in the application form itself.
    • Fields affecting Name, fee, and age relaxations are not enabled for corrections.
