AP PRC2022 New Cumulative DA Calculation, HRA Slabs Based on Population
AP RPS-2022 : Go.1 has been issued by AP Finance(PC-TA) Department on 17/01/2022. In this comprehensive GO.1, clearly mentioned new Master Scales, Fitment to be added to the emoluments, Master Scales, DA to be merged, Pay scales, HRA Slabs. As per the PRC Go.1 the new DA rates and HRA slabs are as follows.
0.91% Percentage of DA one Percent of Central DA
The AP Financial Department has shown clearly in the Go.1 PRC2022, regarding the DA rates to be claimed. Based on the adverse effects of inflation and increase in consumer price index and considering the pay revision for the Central Government employee, AP Govt has determined at 0.91% for every one percent of Central DA with effect from 01-01-2019.

The DA ass per the Revised Pay Scales, 2015, and subsequent Dearness Allowances shall be regulated in the Revised Pay Scales, 2022, as hereunder.

New PRC2022 HRA Slabs @8%, 16%, 24%
AP Govt has revised old HRA slabs 12%, 14.5%, 20%, 30% with new HRA slabs 8%, 16%, 24% on par with the central Govt employees. The complete new HRA slabs as follows.
- Employees in cities having a population more than 50 lakh: 24% of basic pay
- Employees in cities having a population from 5 to 50 lakh: 16% of basic pay
- Employees in cities having a population up to 5 lakh: 8% of basic pay
Accordingly, the HRA will be given as indicated against the Cities, Towns and other places, as stated below
