AP DSC-2024, 6100 Posts, SA, SGT Vacancies
AP Government School Educational Department planned to fill 6100 teacher vacancies in School Education department through District Selection Committee(DSC-2024). For this, Govt. of AP released GO.56 Dt.9/2/2024 School Education(SER.I). According to the GO.56 AP DSC-2024 teachers vacancies will be filled by the way of direct recruitment at School Education, Tribal Welfare, BC Welfare Society and Social welfare society. As per the GO, the selected candidates for teacher jobs duly complete their two years apprenticeship on consolidated remuneration. Aspirants of DSC-2024, must pass in AP TET before appear DSC-2024 recruitment.

As per GO Ms No.40 Dt:03/02/2024, which grants permission to the Commissioner of School Education for teacher recruitment through DSC-2024 and vacancy elimination initiatives. According to the GO, the Government has authorized the Commissioner of School Education(CSE) to fill 6,100 vacancies of teachers across various sectors including School Education, Tribal Welfare, BC Welfare Society, and Social Welfare Society. These vacancies will be filled through direct recruitment via DSC-2024, with selected candidates placed under a two-year apprenticeship program on consolidated remuneration.
Furthermore, the order mandates the filling of promotional vacancies within School Education through conversion and inter-management transfers within districts. This time-bound process aims to ensure zero vacancies of teachers in schools, starting from the academic year 2024-25, as part of the Mission Zero vacancies initiative.

Two Year Apprenticeship, Consolidated Remuneration
Selected candidates of DSC-2024 will receive 50% of the Basic pay of the respective post in the first year and 60% of the Basic pay in the second year as consolidated remuneration during the two-year apprenticeship period. Upon successful completion of this period, candidates will be placed in the regular time scale. Throughout the apprenticeship period, selected candidates will undergo training in various essential areas to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge. The training curriculum includes comprehensive coverage of the following areas.
- IB Curriculum and Pedagogy.
- Digital Technology implementation in Teaching (ICT).
- To get expertise in other global assessments like TOEFL, etc.
- To get expertise in teaching in English as the medium of instruction.
