Must Pass AP TET
The applicants are requested to go through the Information Bulletin carefully and should satisfy themselves as to their eligibility for this Recruitment, before making payment of application. Hall tickets will be generated for the candidates who are qualified in the AP TET only can appear for Teacher Recruitment Test-2024. Persons already working in Govt. sector required to inform to their Head of Office/Department that they are applying for this recruitment.
AP DSC-2024 Application Fee is Rs.750
Applicants must pay a fee of Rs. 750/- for application processing and the Recruitment Test (for each post separately) via the Payment Gateway. The payment window is open from February 12, 2024, to February 21, 2024. The last date for fee payment is February 21, 2024, and the final date for submitting applications online is February 22, 2024. Upon successful payment, candidates will receive a ‘Journal Number,’ which they can use to complete their online application. However, receiving the Journal Number does not indicate that the application process is complete—it merely confirms the fee payment.

To apply AP DSC-2024 online, follow these steps:

- The USER GUIDE with detailed instructions will be accessible on the website starting from February 12, 2024.
- Information about post-wise vacancies in each district will also be available on the same website from February 12, 2024.
- During the application process, make sure to provide your mobile number for contact.
- All official communications related to your application will be sent to the provided mobile number. These messages are considered official communication for candidates.
Age Limit to Apply AP DSC-2024
Age Eligibility:

- No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment to the post of Teacher if they are:
- Less than 18 years old.
- More than 44 years old as of July 1, 2024.
- However, for SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates, the maximum age limit is 49 years.
- For Physically Challenged candidates, the maximum age limit is 54 years.
- No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment to the post of Teacher if they are:
Upper Age Limit for Ex-service Men:

- Ex-service Men (those who served in the Armed Forces of the Indian Union) can deduct the length of their service from their age.
- Additionally, they can subtract three years from their age for the purpose of the maximum age limit.
AP DSC-2024 Computer based Written Test (CBT)
The Computer Based Test(CBT) will be conducted in all districts. A candidate shall appear for the Computer Based Test in the district in which he/she seeks recruitment (or) in adjacent districts of neighbouring.

Selected Candidates Must Undergo Training
Candidates with Spl.D.Ed/B.Ed:

- If appointed to a post in general schools, they must complete a six-month Special Programme in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education). This program is at their own expense
Candidates with B.Ed:

- Upon appointment as a Secondary Grade Teacher, they are required to undergo a six-month bridge course in Elementary education recognized by the NCTE.
- This course must be completed within two years of their appointment as a Secondary Grade Teacher, and the cost is borne by the candidates themselves.

The candidates who have passed SSC Examination in the concerned medium of instruction or with the concerned Language as First Language are eligible to apply for the posts of School Assistant- SA (Mathematics, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Studies) and Secondary Grade Teachers-SGT. The candidates who have passed the Intermediate / Degree Examination (Academic) in the concerned medium of instruction or with the Language concerned as a subject are also eligible to apply for the posts in that medium.
