AP SGTs SALT FLN Trainings November 2024 Schedule
Andhra Pradesh is set to conduct the 2nd Spell of SALT FLN Training for Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) from November 4 to November 9, 2024. This foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) program aligns with NEP 2020, NIPUN Bharat guidelines, and the National Curriculum Framework and is part of Andhra’s commitment to supporting early childhood care and education (ECCE) through the SALT (Supporting Andhra’s Learning Transformation) initiative.

SALT FLN Training Objectives
This comprehensive 60-day certificate course is designed to equip teachers of Grades 1 and 2 with foundational skills essential for enhancing young learners’ literacy and numeracy. Conducted by Samagra Shiksha AP in partnership with ASER (Pratham), the program adopts a blended learning approach, combining offline and online training sessions.
Following the first spell’s success, the second spell will continue the training for 34,000 SGTs in Andhra Pradesh, ensuring they are well-equipped to foster literacy and numeracy in early childhood education.
