Eligibility Criteria to Appear AP POLYCET-2025

    • Candidate shall be an Indian National.
    • Candidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P / TS, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying.
    • Candidates belonging to NIOS/ APOSS/ CBSE/ ICSE/ OTHER Examinations recognized  should have pass in all subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each
    • Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March-2025, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for POLYCET-2025.
    • There is no age restriction for appearing for POLYCET-2025.

How to Fill Application Online

Students need to visit official website and read the instruction before filling the AP POLYCET-2025 online application. The following are instructions to bear in mind while filling the online application.

  • Fill in the Application form as per the guidelines:
  • First fill the 10th Class Hall ticket , Year of pass and Date of Birth.
  • Fill your name as per school records with one letter for each Leave a gap between parts of your name.

  • Sign the declaration with regard to your physical fitness to pursue the Polytechnic.
  • The filled in application form with photograph affixed (Do not staple and Do not sign on the photo) and duly signed by Parent/Guardian should be submitted to the computer operator at the nearest Aponline /Meeseva /Payment gateway /Net Banking/ Help Line center with a cash payment of Rs 400/-.

AP POLYCET-2025 Entrance Exam Pattern

The Question paper consists of 120 questions with a choice of four responses for each question with only one correct response among them. Duration of the examination is 2 hours.

Declaring Results AP POLYCET-2025

  • The minimum marks for declaring a candidate to have passed in the Entrance examination shall be twenty five percent ie., 30marks out of 120.
  • No minimum marks for Scheduled castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates
  • The marks obtained at the entrance test shall be considered for the purpose assigning rank, on the basis of which, selection shall be made for admission into diploma.
  • In case of a tie in rank at entrance test, the marks of the following subjects at Entrance Test in the same order as given below shall be considered for resolving the i)Mathematics ii) Physics iii) Date of Birth
  • The results are likely to be declared within fifteen days from the date of test. Rank Cards will also be download in the same day of results.

Syllabus for AP POLYCET-2025 Entrance Exam

The syllabus of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for POLYCET-2025 is the same as that of SSC Examination of March-2025 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh.

Structure of the POLYCET-2025 Question Paper

The question paper for common Entrance Test for admission into Polytechnics consists of 120 questions.

Section A 01 to 50 Mathematics
Section B 51 to 90 Physics
Section C 91 to 120 Chemistry.

All questions are of multiple – choice type. Each question will have a stem and four answers noted against as 1, 2, 3 and 4. Out of these four, only one is an appropriate answer to the statement given in stem and other three are distracters. A few sample questions of the type in all subjects are shown here. The stem is given both in Telugu and English. The distracters are also given in both languages whenever necessary. All correct responses (Answers) to the questions must be entered by shading / darkening the circle / oval on the OMR Response Sheet provided separately for this purpose.

Admission Counselling

Candidates who have been called for counseling have to bring the following certificates, which are relevant to them in original for verification purpose along with one set of attested

  1. Memo of Marks of SSC or its equivalent
  2. Community Certificate from Revenue Authorities, issued by officers not below the rank of Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO) in respect of BC, SC and ST candidates as per proformas given in Annexure-V. The details of sub-caste and Serial number of the caste in the groups of BC / SC and ST are to be given in the Certificate showing the Date of Birth.

  4. Certificate of study for the entire period of education from Class IV to X
  5. In respect of candidates who appeared for the qualifying examination privately, without schooling, a Certificate of Residence as per the format given in Annexure-VI for 7 years immediately preceding the date of commencement of relevant qualifying examination he/ she first appeared is to be produced from an Officer of Revenue Department not below the rank of MRO.
  6. In case of candidates who are not local to any one of the University area, a Certificate from the Revenue Officer not below the rank of Mandal Revenue officer (MRO) for a total period 10 years of residence, excluding the period of study outside the State, or in case of parent.
  7. In case of candidates who are not Local to any one of the University areas, a certificate from the employer with whom the parents or the spouse of the candidate .
  8. The Medical Certificate in the format given in Annexure-VII, issued by State/District Medical Board in case of Physical handicapped candidate (Vide O.Ms.No.109, Women’s Development, Child Welfare & Labour Department, Dt.15-6-1992).
  9. Certificate issued by competent authority in case of NCC.
  10. Participation Certificate in International Youth Exchange Programme, Republic day Parade at Delhi, State level competition, if any.
  11. Original Transfer Certificate to be produced within a week from the date of seeking Admission, failing which the admission granted will be automatically cancelled without notice and the resulting vacancy will be duly
  12. Physical Fitness Certificate from any Doctor not below the rank of Civil Surgeon.
