SGT to SA, SA to Gr-II Headmaster Promotions Municipal Schools Schedule Released
Director of School Education, AP has released schedule for promotions as per the Rc.No.ESE02- 14028/1/2022-E-VI Dated:26/10/2024 in Municipal Schools. As per the schedule SGT to SA, SA to GrII Headmaster promotions will be given to the teachers on Adhoc basis of all municipalities. The complete promotions schedule as SA and Gr-II as follows.
Promotions to Municipal Teachers as SA, Gr-II HM
All Regional Joint Directors(RJDs) of School Education and District Educational Officers(DEOs) are informed that the Govt. has transferred the supervision and management of Municipal Schools, including matters related to Municipal Teachers, to the School Education Department. This change aligns Municipal Schools with the system used for Government and Panchayat Raj Schools.
Accordingly, the Government has updated the Municipal Teachers Service Rules to match those of Government and Panchayat Raj Headmasters and Teachers. In this regard, it has been decided to initiate temporary promotions in Municipal Schools, promoting Secondary Grade Teachers to School Assistants and School Assistants to Head Masters Grade-II.

Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the state are requested to take up the promotions as per the above schedule to the posts of HeadMasters Gr-II and School Assistants in Municipal Management Schools in the state, duly following the guidelines and instructions issued from time to time in this regard. Any deviation found in implementing the guidelines and instructions will be taken into task and initiate the suitable disciplinary action against the responsible officer.
