Go.192 Further extension of Medical Reimbursement Scheme

Medical Reimbursement Scheme Further Extension  : GO.192 Medical Reimbursement Scheme Further Extension has been released by the AP Govt. Health Medical and Family Welfare (I.1) Department as per the scheme under APIMA Rules, 1972. The extension of the medical reimbursement scheme is from 1^st August 2021 to 31^st July 2022 to the employees and pensioners in parallel with Employee Health Scheme. The guidelines issued here as per the Go.Rt.No.345 HM&FW(I.1) Department Dt:21/08/2018. The Go.192 is issued as per the request and representation of various Teachers Unions and Non-Gazetted Officers Association. AP Govt have issued orders extending the Medical Reimbursement facility to the employees & pensioners in parallel with Employee Health Scheme(EHS) for a further period of one year i.e. from 01.08.2020 to 31.07.2021.

1. The Chief Executive Officer, Dr.YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, AP, Mangalagiri, Guntur District, has requested the Government to issue necessary orders for extending the Medical Reimbursement facility for a further period of one year beyond 31.07.2021, duly following the comprehensive guidelines.
2. 3. During the meeting of Ministers Committee held with representatives of the Employee Associations dated: 05-02-2022, a decision has been taken for extending the medical reimbursement scheme.

3. AP Govt. after careful examination of the matter, hereby extend the Medical Reimbursement Scheme under APIMA Rules, 1972 from 01/08/2021 to 31/07/2022 to the employees and pensioners in parallel with Employee Health Scheme, duly following the comprehensive guidelines issued.

4. This extension would be the last such extension, and no more extensions will be given.
5. The employees have represented that they have been facing the problem of hospitals turning away EHS patients. The Chief Executive Officer, Dr.YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, AP, Mangalagiri, Guntur District, shall take further necessary action to ensure that Dr YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust is made accountable for putting in place systems to ensure that such and other complaints are addressed.
6. The Chief Executive Officer, Dr. YSR Aarogyasri Health Care Trust, AP, Mangalagiri, Guntur District shall take further necessary action in the matter.
7. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance (FMU, HM&FW) Department vide their U.O.Note.No.FINO1-FMUOPC(HMF1)/65/2022-FMU HMFW, Computer .No:1662056 , Dated.17 /03/2022.
