Go.34 is relating to pass of all tenth class students without any grades. AP Government has decided and permitted to Commissioner of School Education(CSE) to pass all tenth students students those who have been registered for SSC Examinations March-2020. This is onetime measure due to ongoing COVID-19.
Key Points in GO.34 Dt:15/07/2020
- No grading points in SSC marks memorandum, instead of only pass will be stated .
- Go.34 Dt:14-07-2020 is issued to declare no grades to 10th Class students.
- Due to local body elections SSC Exams were rescheduled from 9th to 29th March, 2020.
- Again SSC Exams were postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic lock down.
- CSE has submitted a proposal for replacement of the eleven-paper pattern of SSC Public Examinations with six paper pattern due to COVID- 19 pandemic and the National lock down.
District Collectors Expressed Difficulty of Conducting SSC Exams
All District Collectors expressed that it would be difficult to conduct the SSC Public Examinations, as there is a persistent increase of cases in the Districts. Therefore, the CSE has proposed for cancellation of SSC Public Examinations, March 2020 and to drop the grading system and to declare only pass or fail system of the candidate.
Cancel of SSC Examinations Due to COVID-19
Reviewing the pros and cons for conduction of SSC Public Examinations, 2020 and conditions of Covid-19 pandemic prevailing in the State, and therefore, decided to cancel the SSC Public Examinations (SSC/ OSSC/ VOCATIONAL), 2020.
Govt Permitted DGE to Declare All Students Pass
Keeping in view of above, AP Government hereby permit the Director of Government Examinations, A.P., to declare all the students, who have been registered for SSC Public Examinations, March, 2020, and issued hall tickets for appearing examination as pass without awarding any grade points as one-time measure in relaxation.
