7% DA Hike to Central Govt Employees 107% Present DA

Central Cabinet hikes DA to 107% from 100%

The Central Govt has approved 7% DA hike for central Govt employees. The same also applicable for Pensioners Dearness Allowance(DR). The enhanced DA and DR will be effect from 1st July 2014. With this hiked DA and DR would help employees and pensioners in festive season.

With increase of 7% DA , The existing DA 100% is raised up to 107%. The increase DA is based on the 6th pay commission recommended formula. The DA impact on would be on Govt per annum Rs 7691 crore and that DR would be Rs 5127 crore.

With the decision taken by Union Cabinet led by P M Nadendra Modi , which help 8.5 million central govt employees across the India. The UPA Govt earlier increased the DA to 100% w.e.f 1st January 2014
