SSC Public Examinations March 2025 – Conduct of Spot Valuation

The Directorate of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, has released the official AP SSC Spot Valuation Guidelines 2025 for the SSC Public Examinations, March 2025. The Spot-Valuation is scheduled from April 3, 2025, to April 9, 2025, across 26 spot valuation camps located in district headquarters. Teachers are requested to follow principles of evaluation while evaluating 10th Class answer scripts.

Responsibilities of District Educational Officers (DEOs):
- Ensure all necessary arrangements and facilities are provided for smooth Spot Valuation.
- Strictly follow the issued instructions for evaluation processes.
Instructions for Spot Valuation Staff:
- Assistant Examiners should evaluate a maximum of 40 answer scripts per day.
- Special Assistants must:
- Count marks for all evaluated scripts.
- Verify if candidates have written excess answers and ensure correct marking by considering the highest-scoring answers.
- Chief Examiner must verify at least 20 scripts per Assistant Examiner, totaling 120 answer scripts per day.
- Assistant Camp Officers should check at least two scripts per Assistant Examiner.
- Deputy Camp Officer must verify a minimum of 45 evaluated scripts per day.
- Camp Officer must verify at least 20 answer scripts per day.
- During Re-Counting and Re-Verification, utmost care should be taken, as Photostat copies of answer scripts will be provided to candidates.
- Any discrepancies found in Re-Counting or Re-Verification will hold responsible staff accountable, leading to disciplinary action and penalties.
Instructions for District Educational Officers (DEOs):
- Strict Supervision: DEOs/Camp Officers must not leave the valuation camp during working hours.
- Seating & Infrastructure:
- All staff should be accommodated in spacious rooms.
- Ensure adequate lighting, fans, and basic infrastructure.
- Additional Examiners: If more Assistant Examiners (AEs) are required, appoint them as per guidelines and inform the Director of Government Examinations.
- Mobile Phones Prohibited: Strict prohibition on mobile usage during camp hours.
- OMR Handling:
- Part-III OMRs should reach DGE by April 10, 2025.
- Ensure safe transportation with a designated Special Messenger.
- Part-I OMR sheets must be secured in trunk boxes with Strong Room keys handed over to RJDSEs by April 2, 2025.
- Security Measures: Ensure tight security with police assistance throughout the valuation process.
- Submission of Reports: A list of Chief Examiners (CEs), Assistant Examiners (AEs), and Special Assistants must be submitted to the DGE office immediately after completion of Spot Valuation.
Additional Guidelines for Spot Valuation Camps:
Considering extreme weather conditions, all DEOs must arrange:
- First Aid Kits with ANMs and essential medicines.
- Cool drinking water.
- Air coolers at appropriate locations within the camps.
