Andhra Pradesh Chief Election Officer(CEO) has released and placed election related videos in YouTube which are very useful to conduct election process at polling station level. These videos are greatly helpful for PO, APO those who are responsible to conduct elections at polling stations. All PO, APO are suggested to view the 16 videos before actual election process. All these videos are circulated to all polling personnel in respective districts and used during training programs as well.

ASD Voter List Video
Absentee, Shifted & Dead Voter List is prepared by ERO/RO from field information. The Voter is supposed to produce EPIC or permitted photo documents & presiding officer to verify personally.

Voter Decides Not to Vote Video
An Elector after his details are recorded in form 17A and he has put thumb impression/ signature and decides not to record their vote, shall not be forced or compelled to record their vote.

Video On Refusing Obey Voting
When an elector violates the voting procedure, they shall forfeit their right to vote and shall be asked to acknowledge their violation through a signature in the 17A book before they are asked to leave the premises.

Blind and Infirm Voters
A blind or physically infirm voter who cannot recognize the symbols shall be permitted an authorised companion who is above the age of 18 years to the voting compartment to record their vote according to their vote on their behalf.

Under Aged Voter
In case the Returning Officer has a suspicion that a voter might be under the qualifying age, the voter will be asked to provide a declaration as in Annexure 15. The voter shall be informed of the penal provision in Section 31 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, for making false declaration.

Tendered Vote Process Videos
In case your vote is already cast as per the ticking formality recorded upon the ‘marked’ voter list by the PO1(Custodian of the ‘marked’ voter list), the voter shall be cross-examined and allowed to vote through a tender ballot once the Returning Officer is convinced that the voter has not voted.

Challenged Votes Videos
The identity of a person claiming to be a particular elector may be challenged by a polling agent. If the challenge is not sustained the voter shall be allowed to vote. If the challenge is sustained, the person shall not be allowed to vote and shall be handed over to the police.

Test Vote Process Videos
If a voter after having recorded their vote under 49MA alleges that the paper slip generated by the VVPAT has shown the name or symbol of a candidate other than the one they have voted for, the voter shall be asked to give a declaration under Annexure-17 and shall be allowed to cast a test vote under the supervision of the Presiding Officer.

After all the voters who may be present at the polling station at the appointed hour for the closing of the poll have voted, the Presiding Officer shall formally declare the poll as closed and nobody shall be permitted to vote thereafter under any circumstances.

Election Day Important Envelops
All the election papers shall be kept in an unsealed white-coloured master envelope (Envelope No: 2/1) and the Polling Station wise scrutiny cover required for scrutiny shall be stored separately in a strong room other than the polled EVM strongroom having polled EVMs and VVPATs.
