AP Government has announced 43% of fitment to its employees and teachers at media conference in Hyderabad. Monetory benefit is
from 02 June 2014 and cash benefit would get from 1 April 2015 . With the 43% fitment enhancement to total financial burden on the budget
would be reached to 9,284.52 Crore . 4.80 Lakh employees and 3.40 pensioners will benefit with the AP Government decision.
AP PRC cabinet sub-committee, which was designated by CM Sri.N Chandra Babu Naidu to look after the new PRC recommendations and implementation.
They had rigorous discussions with Employers Joint Action Committee(JAC). AP PRC sub-committee discussions with JAC were fruitful and they approached
Chief Minister to submit resolutions. The designated sub-committee submitted 47% percent of fitment proposal to the Chief Minister after they had discussions with Chief Minister.
AP Govt Discussions with JAC
AP JAC has demanded more than 43% fitment in subcommittee meeting and requested implement PRC arrears from 01.01.2014, but the group of
AP Ministers nodded to give PRC benefits from 01-04-2015. The final decision will be taken by the CM and he would made announcement shortly.
PRC Sub-committee Opines
At first the sub-committee has given two options to its employees, first option is fitment between 31% - 34% and implementation from 2nd June 2014
on par with Telangana employees except in variation in fitment. The second option is to announce 43% fitment as like with Telangana but the implementation
is from 1St April 2015. The CM even considered to give 43% more fitment to give its employees to get favorable to employees and
get rid of anti-employee image.
Additional Financial Burden on Budget
The 43% fitment would have additional financial burden of Rs.9825.17 crore per annum. The CM is of the opinion to implement from next financial
year to avoid financial problems which is prevailing at present. Final decision will be taken after the complete discussions with Cabinet Sub Committee.
New Basic Pay RPS 2015 with 43% fitment
The new basic pay calculations is as follows
1) Basic Pay as on 01/07/2013
2) Add DA @ 63.344% to basic Pay is = Basic Pay*63.344%
3)Add 43% of fitment = Basic Pay *43%
By adding above three values , you will get ground basic pay, and check corresponding master scale in RPS 2015
